Second Grade Teacher

My name is Sharon Whightsil and I love being a second grade teacher! This is my fourth year at Cross Lutheran and eighth year as a teacher, all of which I have spent in second grade. I attended Concordia University Texas to earn my degree in Special Education.  My favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9.  I love greeting new students each year as they bring their own unique personalities and passions to our classroom community, in search of discovering who they are and where they are equipped to touch the world. I know that God has embedded greatness into each and every person and I believe that education is a way to uncover that potential. I look forward to working with your child and your family when you make Cross Lutheran your school home!
